DON'T BOTHER!! My husband ordered a bike, to be a surprise for me, & it took over 2+weeks. He phoned CS to see if they would check with UPS on the delay and "there was just nothing they could do." (First issue) The bike finally arrived & damaged to say the least. Poorly packed was an understatement. (Second issue) It was basically thrown in a box. No bubble wrap or anything to protect it, no "this side up" sticker or anything like that to alleviate UPS from shuffling it around their truck. Parts were broken, bike frame scratched & bent spokes. The saga continues but the point of this is DO NOT PURCHASE anything from this company. Their customer service is horrible and they are NOT accommodating whatsoever. In the end my husband kept the bike & repaired it himself. He kindly asked for a reimbursement on a replacement part he purchased (for $50) in addition to asking if they would honor a discount for receiving a damaged bike, the time & energy he spent researching & repairing it himself, along with the hassle of the entire experience.

They offered $60. If that doesn't tell you what kind of company this is I don't know what does. It's pathetic & extremely obvious they don't care about a customer's happiness or experience - just their bottom line.

Easy to order on the website. Got a confirmation that the bike had shipped. Waited two weeks, no bike. Contacted Customer support and was told to be patient the bike is on the way. Bike arrived 2 days later. The bike was packaged very poorly, parts were broken and damaged. I understand the damage probably happened in transit, however the bike should have been packed much better to protect the OEM packaging. Called Customer service and they told me they are out of stock of that bike and I would need to wait until the claim with the shipper had been closed out in order to receive a refund. So they have my money, I have a damaged bike that can't be used and I am supposed to wait until they get and insurance payment before I receive a refund. That is terrible customer service. Be careful buying from City Grounds online

Missing instructions and bolts

After looking through the dumpster and going to Home Depot. I hope to have my bike set up. Contacting them is terrible. Don’t order from here if you expect to have everything to build your bicycle .
I would have much rather bought something on Facebook marketplace. Missing 3 out of 4 nuts to lock in the wheels each one is worth 5$. No instructions and wrongs size Allen key.

Costly return policy...read the fine print before purchasing from this company.

The bike I ordered for my daughter was delivered timely and my daughter loves it. However, I purchased additional pegs for her bike. I did not realize that the bike peg that I ordered did not come as a pair. It was not clear and when I requested a return label City Ground emailed me back stating that I was responsible for both the shipping and restocking fee for a peg. So it would cost me money to make the return and to purchase a second one without a bike purchase would cost me double for the peg with shipping cost. I thought this was unfair and should have been stated more clear for first time BMX bike parents. I decided not to purchase my other daughters bike from them bc of this policy. These bikes cost too much to possible loose so much money on their poor return policy.
